London Metropolitan Regatta 2024

London Met 2024
Our intermediate team travelled to London Metropolitan Regatta at Dorney Lake this June Bank Holiday weekend and had some serious and competitive racing! The Men competed in the coxed 4+ both days and the women competed in the 4-. With the National Irish Championships just around the corner, the crews will certainly take away a lot from the weekend of racing!
Two of our junior boys got to go and see the Olympic 2012 venue for their first time. Tony O’Callaghan was over to support or men’s 4+ and was back up for the UCC women’s crew too. Christy O’Callaghan helped both the men and women of UL. The two brothers support for all their crews was well appreciated.

As always, thanks to our coaches Michael and Ian for their constant support. And of course Patrick Corley, Megan Carmody and Dave Williams on the camera!
